Introducing The Care Caddy, a collaboration community health initiative of the Hal Sutton Foundation, CHRISTUS Schumpert Health System and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
THE CARE CADDY will visit Friendship Houses to deliver Healthcare to children and adolescents. The Care Caddy's staff of physicians, registered nurses and medical assistants will provide primary preventative healthcare and health education.
THE FRIENDSHIP HOUSE PROGRAM is a neighborhood-based community-building program of Shreveport-Bossier Community Renewal, whose mission is to rebuild neighborhoods through establishing caring relationships.
What Will The Care Caddy Do?
- Provide Health And Wellness Education Through Activities And Exercises
- Provide Health Services Including Physical Exams, Screenings And Immunizations
- Assist Families With Enrolling Children In The Louisiana Children's Health Insurance Program (LACHIP)
